Lizard Lounge 'Groove Is In The Heart' #2
It's been over twenty years since the Lizard Lounge closed its doors and our faithful fanbase have been super keen for a Reunion evening.
We were amazed when the event SOLD OUT in a record two days.... just via world of mouth before tickets could even go on public sale!
We were bombarded with requests for a REPEAT evening for those who missed out... so we listened and we're thrilled to be returning for the much demanded Lizard Reunion #2.
A little history...
The Lizard Lounge opened in 1990 playing a mix of anything that got people moving on the dance floor from The Cult to Kylie.
It didn’t matter as long as it had the beat to get everyone up and moving. And it certainly did, packing out Saturday nights for over 10 years.
Gradually expanding to Fridays and Thursdays (which at times rivalled the popularity of Saturdays) the Lizard often saw over a thousand happy dancers stream through the club over the weekend.
From New Order to Madonna, Morrissey to the Chemical Brothers, the Pixies to the latest dance hits, the Lizard stopped all stations.
And after talking about it for years original DJs Rob Griffiths and Dan Attard and guests (including Betty our door girl) will be pumping out all those Lizard classics.
And we'll be holding it again at the latest cool Melbourne hotspot… Odeon Richmond.
BOOK EARLY because, like last time, it's going to be HUGE!
The event is scheduled for 8 pm to 1 am on Saturday, 7th December.
Entry is $18 plus booking fee.
